Admissions policy summary

We admit children from 6 months to 12 years, up to our registered capacity of 62 and within the statutory adult:child ratios for each room. We do not discriminate on the grounds of gender, civil or family status, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, race or membership of the Traveller community. A child with additional needs is offered a place on the same basis as any other child, with AIM supports arranged where they help. The full written policy is available on request and is displayed in the entrance hall.

How the waiting list is ordered

Date of application — the list is kept in order of when we received your form.
Siblings of children already attending get first refusal on a matching place.
Days required — a family needing the days that have come free is offered the place ahead of a family needing days we cannot fill.

There is no charge to join the list. A €50 booking deposit is taken only when you accept a place. For ECCE places, the deposit is refunded once the child's ECCE registration is approved and cannot exceed four weeks of ECCE payments.
