A small, warm start to a big world
Early years care in Glemara, from 6 months to 12 years
A small, calm crèche and Montessori preschool on Main Street. We are an ECCE approved setting and a participating service for the National Childcare Scheme, so most families pay considerably less than our headline fee.

Our Rooms
Five rooms from The Nest to the After-School Club, with age ranges, places and the ratios we work to.

Our Day
The daily routine, hot meals cooked on site, outdoor play, sleep and rest, and how Aistear and Síolta shape our work.

Fees & Support
What we charge, what the State pays, and what you actually pay each week. Worked examples included.
Why parents choose us
Low ratios, rostered above the minimum
The legal ratios are a floor, not a target. We roster extra adults at drop-off, lunch and collection, when small children need most from us.
Hot meals cooked on site
Bernie cooks everything in our own kitchen: two meals and two snacks a day for full day children, including one hot meal, with allergies handled individually.
A large outdoor area
Half an acre of garden with a mud kitchen, willow tunnel, digging beds and bikes. Children are outdoors every day in proper rain gear.
Two free settling-in visits
Every new child gets two settling visits at no cost, a named key worker, a daily handover and a phone call from us on the first full day.
A degree-led Montessori room
Our ECCE room is led by a Lead Educator with a Level 8 degree, running a genuine three-hour Montessori work cycle every morning.
Straight answers about money
We will sit down and work out your actual weekly cost after NCS before you commit to anything.
What parents say
"I cried leaving him the first morning and they rang me at eleven to say he'd eaten a full bowl of porridge and was outside in the mud. That phone call is the whole place in one."
"Aoife sat with us for forty minutes with a calculator and showed us exactly what we'd pay after the subsidy. No other place did that."
Testimonials are fictional and written for this demonstration site.
